When you arrive in Chioggia in the morning, you can walk in the historic center of this beautiful town called " little Venice". Chioggia has ancient origins and is built on islands joined by bridges. It is characterized by its curious herringbone structure.
In addition to the Cathedral, you can admire Palazzo Poli which for a few years was the home of Carlo Goldoni, father of the Italian comedy. Then Palazzo Grassi, now used as an University building ,till you’ll arrive in the charming Piazzetta Vigo, where from the top of a column, a lion of Saint Mark dominates the lagoon basin, emblem of the Serenissima Republic, better known as "El Gato de Ciosa" for its small size.
At 10.30 a.m passengers will board with their own bike or rented ones, on our boat towards the island of Pellestrina ( 20 minutes of navigation). You will disembark and be free to ride along the cycle paths, among the alleys of the typical seaside village that have sprung up between the lagoon on one side and the clear Adriatic sea on the other. At 2.00 pm you will board on our motor ship and continue to the Lido of Venice (15 minutes of navigation) : disembarkation and free bike ride. The Lido, right in front of Venice, is famous above all for its beach and for the film festival. It is 12 km long , made up of a network of roads with little traffic plunged in the green of the avenues and gardens or in the blue of the water. At 17.30 or 18.30 we come back to Chioggia and, if there will be time left, we will make a 30-minute tour of the Lagoon with our motorboat where a local guide will tell you the history and legends of Chioggia. Afterwards you will disembark.
