During this panoramic excursion you can admire the three historical canals of Chioggia, Sottomarina and the docks, San Felice fortress, the harbor mouth and the works of the Mose, the Oasis and the Octagon of Cà Roman, the mussel farms, the "casoni" of fishermen, the commercial harbour, the fishermen's Madonna known as Stella Maris.

Departure and return from / to Chioggia (Fondamenta Merlin, near ACTV boarding).

Duration: 1 hour (without getting off the boat).

During the tour the Captain will entertain you with a pleasant historical-cultural explanation of our city.

We depart every day at 9.00 a.m and 10.00 a.m; we come and pick you up  in the afternoon, time to be agreed with the Captain.

Transportation from Chioggia to Pellestrina with your own or rented bike (at our shop).

Pellestrina, a little island in the South Lagoon of Venice, is a small fishing village brightened by the beautiful colors of its houses, about 11 km long with many unspoiled free beaches.

 Price € 20.00 with own bike; € 30.00 with rented bike.

In the 3 hours duration tour, we will begin the navigation among the most beautiful and evocative views of the city of Chioggia between bridges and canals, the wholesale fish market, the Union bridge, the historical fortifications in defense of the enemy, the works of Mose, the dams of the port, the oasis of Ca' Roman, the mussel and clam farms, the fishermen's huts, the Murazzi dam which connects Ca' Roman to Pellestrina and the Madonna dei Pescatori also called Stella Maris.

There will also be a short stop on the island of Pellestrina lasting 1 hour. Pellestrina is located in the Venetian Lagoon and represents the southernmost of the three narrow coasts that divide the lagoon from the Adriatic  sea. Here you will find 3 beautiful churches and the lace museum as well as beautiful coloured houses.
